Senior Oil Sands Executive Joins Titanium Corporation Board

Toronto, Ontario...September 5, 2006...Titanium Corporation Inc. [TSX-V:TIC] Chairman, George Elliott, today announced the appointment of Brant Sangster as Director of the Corporation. Mr. Sangster is a leader in Canada's energy industry recently retiring after a distinguished 25-year career as a senior executive of Petro-Canada.

As Senior Vice President, Oil Sands, Mr. Sangster was responsible for the strategy and implementation of Petro-Canada's Oil Sands businesses. He most recently led Petro-Canada's participation in the large Fort Hills Oil Sands Mining/Upgrader project and served as a Director of Syncrude Canada Ltd. Prior to joining Petro-Canada, Mr. Sangster spent 13 years with Imperial Oil Ltd. holding a number of operational and corporate positions. 

Throughout his career, he dedicated his time to a number of community and industry organizations, serving as Chairman, Canadian Petroleum Products Institute (Ontario branch); Chair, Technical Standards and Safety Authority Board; and holding directorships with Calgary Opera, Lunch Box Theatre and the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre. A chemical engineer, Brant Sangster is a graduate of Dalhousie University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia.
